Mahjong Solitaire
Stacking the turtle…
How to play Mahjong Solitaire
Mahjong Solitaire (also called Shanghai or Taipei) is a tile matching puzzle played with a 144-tile mahjong set stacked into the classic turtle. Remove every tile by matching identical pairs, but only tiles that are free may be taken.
- Work down from the top layers first; buried tiles are the ones that trap you.
- When three or four of the same face are available, pick the pair that frees the most tiles rather than the closest pair.
